If you haven't heard already, The Bugel is no more.
Unfortunately, the economic malaise finally that has been gripping North America caught up to The Bugel, and the past year has not been kind to us. With no end in sight for this downturn, we have decided to do the prudent thing and cease publication of The Bugel. November 16, 2011 was our final issue.
It has been our great pleasure to be of service to the people and businesses of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows for the past 13 years, and it is with heavy hearts that we make this decision to end our contribution to these communities.
The support of our many advertisers, the ongoing loyalty of our readers, and the opportunity to help build two vibrant and very special communities will be sorely missed by both of us.
For those wondering what will happen next for the two of us, Maggie will be expanding her real estate career (she'll finally get to work just one job for a change), and Robert will be expanding his Right Said Writing Service and looking for a new opportunity.
Again, thank you to everyone who helped us keep The Bugel going these many years. We appreciate your efforts, and we were pleased to be a part of so many people's lives for so many years.
